Tascam Recorders - What Are the Benefits?

Recently, I bought a Tascam DR-100MKII digital audio recorder from eBay. It arrived with a bunch of equipment already installed, but I needed to do a little more work. I'll talk about what I did to make my first recording session great!

What's New: Added a new entry on the Tascam DR-100MKII. A previous entry on the model said the sound card could not be upgraded. Now, deleted some extra stuff, cleaned up a couple of glaring problems and tested out a couple of things.

The Tascam sounded fine. There was no buzzing, no static, no problems, no nothing. But it wasn't quite perfect. Let me tell you, it is one of those things where you're glad you have a good sound card - especially when recording!

In fact, if you record with your own sound card, it may be better to upgrade to the newer models. The sound card inside is a little bit more sensitive now. The quality on the recordings may be a little higher. With the new recorder, you can also record in mono, without losing the sound quality at all.

That brings me to the next point, sound quality: The sound on the recorder is incredible! I've been using one for a while, and it's just amazing how clear it can be. Recording in mono only takes a minute and there is no loss of sound quality. Recording two tracks onto one Tascam tape isn't a problem, either. It seems like it's much easier than loading two different audio CDs into your computer.

I've been using this for years, and the quality is surprisingly high. Of course, I've had the privilege of helping a friend use one for his band, and he was amazed at the sound he was getting. Of course, we're talking about a demo - his band only plays in small rooms.

So, if you want a new Tascam tape, go out and buy one right now. The prices are reasonable, and you can find a new one online. If you're looking to teach yourself how to record, I highly recommend getting a new one. There are some great courses available online. My recommendation is to start with the basics, like the one I've just mentioned. Then, as you become more experienced, you can move on to more advanced techniques.

So, what's stopping you from getting a new Tascam recorder? Is it the price, or the thought of learning how to record on a higher spec machine? Whatever you decide, just go out and get yourself a new one today.

As for me, I already have my Tascam recorder, but I'm not sure if I'll be sticking with it that long. Maybe I'll sell it later on and buy another one. Either way, it's not stopping me from recording. My friends have been asking me when I'll get around to recording our band's next album, so I guess I'll have to tell them. Until then, I can't complain!

In fact, I think I'm going to get even more Tascam machines. That's how good their customer service is these days. I've been getting high quality machines from them ever since I bought my first one.

I've been told by several people that if you don't have a new one, you're wasting your money. I've been trying to record some new material from our latest album, but it's been a struggle. The previous machine I had worked with wasn't designed well enough to capture the sound levels we need for a new record. I know that I need a new one to work properly.

You can find Tascam recorders in just about any music store in the country. I recommend buying your new machine from them. They'll help you figure out which models are right for you, offer advice on the best models, and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend going through their website and looking through the different machines they have available. It's a great way to save a few dollars!
